Plant-mediated (indirect) interactions between mammals and invertebrates has been extensively studied. However, the direct interactions between these animals was practically ignored. Using behavioral, chemical and molecular tools, we are exploring these direct interactions, revealing the mechanisms involved and their effects at individual and population levels.
